International House Tbilisi operates an eighteen week term. Each term covers one language level, e.g. Upper Intermediate, and is divided into two halves, the first nine weeks covering level A and the second level B. After a placement test and interview you will join classes at either the A or the B stage. On an IH Tbilisi General English Course you will learn to use English effectively, developing all your language skills – speaking, listening, reading and writing. You will study and use a wide range of vocabulary and grammar and improve your pronunciation. Your teachers will encourage you to speak and help you to be more confident, fluent and accurate. There are three two hour lessons a week (Monday, Wednesday, Friday or Tuesday, Thursday, Saturday). You can choose your class time – morning, afternoon or evening – the one that suits you best. An IH Certificate verifying the length of the course and the level achieved is issued on completion. This certificate is accepted by local and overseas employers as proof of your ability in English at your particular level.
